Hello Fmers, could someone please point me in the right direction of a book I am trying to find dont know the name of it or the author, difficult you might say !!!
Basically it was a barbel book ,well it was about getting the right habitat for barbel ,the insects they eat ,ways to improve the flow and keep the gravels clear not a how to catch barbel book more a book of river ecology ,a damn fine read if I remember rightly. The copy I read was a paperback and I remember a center pin on the front of the book but am not completley certain about that.
If someone could give me the name of the book from this rather patchy to say the least description I would be very grateful.
Thanking you Barbus.

I think it's The Nature of Barbel by Nick Giles.
