hi guys,

AS I Posted a few weeks ago about these weights and every one knocks em,but dont if you havent tried em,

good points, once i the water you cant find em,

link that with x-line and a flo leader back lead job done.

ideal for margin work

bad points,

bit on the large side and make quite a slash,

pricey, plus inlines no available quite yet.

ive used these weigths on 3 trips now and have caught on all 3 the only thing i can think off on the not so good side, is if the carp cannon see them then bump them will it spook em??

Solar thats one of my arguements ,carp spook on what they cant see not on what they can see

they are well used to snags ,weeds etc so why not paint every thing black ?

the only thing that worries me is the sparkle you might get in sun light will that spook carp as its not natural ,me Im not willing to take the chance

but saying that keep the reports coming ......................................................

Weights arrived today will start using them next week,

They are rather large ,I would like some half the size for margin fishing.

but with this cold snap it might be the wrong time for the test.

if they are invisible, why would it matter?

Not trying to put you on the spot James, I'm just curious. But how are you going to test them? I'm puzzled as to how this cold snap will affect the test.

another thought on the visibility.... wont silt/weed/etc settle on it it and make it visible?

Id like to know if they will reflect light back into fishes eyes so I would put it in a tank of water then fire my digi at it from all angles with flash on and check the pictures

cant think of another way
