About 20 years ago I took an angling book out of the library (Manchester).
It was a relatively old book way back then.
I can't remember the title, but what I found particularly interesting was the number of proven ground bait recipes in it.
One recipe in particular (which I made and used) contained:
Ground sunflower seeds
Ground peanuts
Ground hemp
Ground dried chestnut (this broke my coffee grinder and I never made it again!)
Other ingredients that I can't remember and misplaced the recipe during a house move.
As you can see these ingredients contain a high oil content and a high nutrition content.
Given this information can any of you angling book collectors and/or older gentlemen give me any ideas on the book title and author? I'm hoping that I'll recognise the title and author when I see them.
Thanks
Matt
