Hi guys,,

I have a problem.. My reel isnt workin right, n basically to cut a long story short, Ive taken it apart n know when the problem is.. a screw has come loose, letting a cog jump out of place, thus making the rel useless.. the problem I have is that I cant get to the screw, as the main shaft on which the spool sits is in the way..

If there is anyone that knows how to get the shaft out so I can tighten the screw, I would be very greatful

The reel incidently, is a Wychwood Maximiser 70

Many thanks

Matt

Hi Matt,

if you take the spool off and look at the shaft where it enters the body of the reel, there should be a nut. undoing this should enable you to remove the shaft.

Or you can always send it back
