Why not try your local Indian / Pakistani food wholesalers, small Indian Ocean Red Mullet £3.50 a kilo and Indian Oceanmackerel at £2.50 a kilo works for me. Beats a £1 a deadbait, far cheaper and you can allways cook a nice meal at home if you find they do not work.

Heres a 'bluey' I caught off the coast of Massachusetts --but it's a bit big for a livebait ......

Yes Sean, but we kept getting those Bluefish

The best striper fishing was on the Merrimack River just in from Plum Island --

This one was caught just down the road from my fiances apartment in Newburyport :

Mackie supplies are getting low, so lets wipe out another species.

supposed to have a bigger oil slick, but catch wise on the sea Mackies still out fish them. i hate the bloody things, a few magazines that have been advertising these have got very sh***y to anyone saying anything bad about them, trying to find a genuine review from an angler on these is hard.

I've now caught a few on them and they're fine. If they were crap I'd have said so.

Excellent deadbaits are blueys. Had two pike last week on them. Mind you they don't half pong and give off oil.
