Anyone fish around Shrewsbury know the Old LMS Angling club?

My club secretary is trying to book a small match on the Emstrey Section of the River Severn near Shrewsbury, but is drawing a blank with attempts to contactthe new Secretary of the controlling club, Old L.M.S. Sports Club (angling Section).

You used to be able to buy day tickets through the Phoenix Tackle shop in Shrewsbury but I am told it has recently closed down (mind you, given my recent track record I wouldn't rely on that!)

Can anyone help with the new Secretary's number? PM me if you dont wish to divulge it on an open forum. Many thanks

Thanks Merv. As I understand it both the Pheonix (ex Shrew Bait Centre)and Sundorne Anglingshops have shut but a new Angling superdstore is about to open. Will try them, thanks anyway.
