Help places to fish around melton mowbray

Hey guys can anyone help me? Ive just moved from stoke-on-trent to melton mowbray and am having trouble finding places to fish, The internet hasnt been much help and tackle shops havnt either. Im looking for rivers and lakes alike for the usual chub barbel carp perch bream ect i know the wreake soar and trent are local but cant find any info out. I would be very grateful for any help its doing my head in i know there is fantastic fishing about but cant find out help please.

You're also not far from the Upper Welland and the Witham. Both well worth a visit.
