What a superb Pike.

It makes you wonder though as to what else is in that canal if the Pike can grow to that size.

Hidden treasures in there I'd wager.

Thanks guys,yes paul it is i love predator fishing but i think a big perch beats them all mate.

the fish is still my P.B i caught it a year or so ago i am still fishing the canals in the area but not had any more twenties in fact they are like hens teeth,"maybe this winter".

twitch,

most of my piking revolves round livebaits(where allowed and if i can catch them in the winter) or standard dead bait fishing with lampreysardine and smeltbeing the main baits the sea baits i like to pop up so they stand on their tails.

the lives are fished on a sunken float paternoster set up so they can be anchored next to a feature.
