Mmm.Still no progress on DNA testing I see.It would be interesting to hear Andy's slant on this as one of the main movers.

I think the list needs a little editing Graham.I was just about to pack my rods for Maker Freshwater Lake in Surrey when I realised it was the Chub record holders surname not where he had caught it.

DNA/gene testing? Not sure just how fast these would be for fish, but I was asked to take part in a similar thing after a recent illness to find out whether I had any 'rogue' genes I could have passed on to my son. That was almost two years ago and I'm still waiting.

Just as well we didn't tell my lad otherwise he'd now be bald with the worry of waiting.
