Im new to the forum so Hi to you all.

Just got back into fishing again this past season after a goodfew years . Am looking to build all my tackle back up and have just purchased new rod reel, lines etc.

Need some advice on connecting my airlfo ridge line to my leeda as there are integrated loops in the line as you prob know. Do I tye my leeda / fluoro carbon straight to these or is there a better option as I am frightened of the line cutting.

I am used to the braided loop method so not seen intergrated loops before.

Thanks

As long as you tie your leader on using the loop-to-loop method you should be fine.

Thanks adrian. Is that my normal monafilament straight to the loop on the line, or should I have a length of stronger mono first, and attatch leeda to that

If you're just getting back into fly fishing again, I'd strongly recommend getting some tapered mono leaders from your local tackle shop. They will greatly help with your presentation. You can get them in various strengths to suit the type of venue you'll be fishing. It would be worth asking their advice.
