I purchased a set of zig bugs last week and they really do work.Whent to Cudmore for the day with my 2 boys as they are only young and blanking makes my youngest quite dispondent and i knew we would catch, anyway we all used the Nash Zig bugs and were into carp from the first cast.Iv'e never been a great fan of the zig rig but as my lads have always got their heads stuck in some magazine and the idea obviously got into their heads i thought id'e give it a go.If you haven't already tried the zig bugs then it is well worth a shot they worked great on a brimming full lake at the local fishery but not sure what they would be like on a harder venue. The idea stands to reason the fish are swimming about mid level all day eating all manner of aquatic creepy crawlies and im suprised it's took this long for a manufacturer to come up with some rig foam shaped like a water boatman.Try them anyway they work.

When I saw them I thought they looked rather gimmicky.

Pleased that they have worked for you. What size were the fish you caught?
