Truth being told, I’ve been fishing now for some 27 years, started when I was just a ‘wee boy’ of five. I’ve specialised in the quiver and have had some wonderful specimens out to many different shapes and sizes. From the beautiful tench through to the snottiest of charismatic bream, from stubborn perch to powerful chub. Of the recent two years, whenever the chance arose for a night session or two, I’ve been opting for the carp. I’ve had some wonderful results and I’m forever getting ready for my next quest.

On that note Mr ‘Carp Angler’ himself has once again asked me to teach him a few tricks by showing him how to fish for carp (yeah right!) and between us have arranged three days and nights in April to get it on! Rik is based in the Southampton area and I’m based in Faversham, Kent (near Canterbury). Although we are both happy about travelling to our venue, I think it’s fair to say that the ideal solution will be a venue somewhere in the middle. I suppose the Sussex area?

Our target/ideal fish are once again carp and in their early twenty’s. The perfect location should be fairly well stocked and probably around 5/6/7 acres. If anyone of you wonderful FM members have any suggestions as to a suitable venue and have details of which we can check out, could you please be so kind as to drop me a line on here.

Thanking you all in advance!
Stuart
