Whenever we have threads about fishing magazine there are always some who complain about the adverts.
Here's why adverts are needed.<ul>[*]If there were no advertisers paying the publishers, the magazine would cost much more. The publishers would have to getthe moneythey would have earned from selling advertising space from somwehere. I suspect that trying to sell a monthly fishing magazine for £5 or £6 might not help your sales much.[*]Tackle companies advertise for a reason. Itcan helptheir sales. Without those sales many of them wouldn't be in business. A vibrant tackle trade is good for anglers because it means more shops stay in business and you have more tackle to choose from.[*]When anglers are looking to buy tackle, the adverts are a useful source of information. I've just been putting more effort into my piking and the ads in Pike and Predators etc. have shown me what is available. I even bought some gear.[*]You don't have to read the adverts. Your're reading this and there's plenty of adverts to the left and right of your screen.[/list]
