Spinning for flounder

I've recently bought a spinning rod and would like to use it for saltwater fish as well as freshwater.

Having read the sea angling 'where to fish', I've noticed flounder are in abundance.

Is it worth trying spinning with ragworm on the hook? Where is the place to try, from a pier?

Cheers, Stew

try your spinning from piers or estuaries, try spoonsandflattie spinners, your tackle shop should be able to help you. if these dont work try baited spoons and if you fail again total fishing mag has a good flattie rig on light tackle its good fun.

Do you tie the lure directly onto the mainline or use a trace?
