Drennan E-SOX Spinflex Lure Rod

Wouldnt be without a pair of these now bought one originally for throwing lures a little further than with a 6ft rod multi set up.
Its so versatile it gets used for all my small water fishing for pike carp perch etc (yes 2.5 may be heavy for perch but with pike around it works) so far ive used them to greeat effect for floater fishing tenching with pva bags etc pike with lures deads and wobbling and all my bait fishing from a boat the only down side for me the single leg guides I would have preferred triple but so far I havnt managed to break any

Any reason why it would not work well with an Abu C3? I am looking for a new rod of this type and although 9' is a little longer than I was aiming for it might be just the job - the price certainly is!
