I must say that reading those threads was a bit like watching the inmates argue in " One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest ".

And I am glad the members of ' The Barbel Conservation Group ' don't behave like that......we have a show planned and think its going to be the event of the year.....

I wouldn't even join them.

I prefer a much broader church, the Barbel Appreciation, Specialist Tench Anglers & Rudd Demolishers (and bad ones at that) is what I created and we're not having a show. Well we were, that's what I planned, but no one was prepared to come along and talk so it's a No Show Show. Wouldn't mind but I have 200 vol-au-vents on order and a case of brown ale.
