I’d be very happy with any species that came anywhere near a specimen but a 4lb perch would be a truly magnificent fish.

Depends entirely on where I'm fishing. At the moment, due to a particular venue, I'll be over the moon with a carp over 17lb or any other species of any size at all.

For me its not about weight but about a perfect specimen of a species, pristine, great condition, brilliant colour, strong and healthy for its species and size.

Anything over a pound makes me happy lol. Best catch was a 32lb pike. Going to France this year so I'm aiming for a carp over 20lbs lol. Not a big target but you just don't get them here in Scotland :( well you do but it's a rare thing :(

Still waiting for a two pound roach. But away from these shores .........
Marlin. A big blue grander would do just fine.

A 10LB Sea trout from the ribble on red maggot, so I could really ruffle the feathers of that elitist game fishing syndicate further up stream!

Seriously though a nice 6lb + Chub would do me nice!

A 3lb + roach (I won't hold my breath!) or a 50lb + carp. I'm happy just fishing for any roach so a real biggy would be a fish of a lifetime.
