Have you ever been fishing and turned over the stones right at the rivers edge and used those tiny little worms as bait.

they are very brittle and always really small.

i was just wondering does anyone know what type of worm they are?

They are likely to be one of these two Lumbriculus variegatus or Eiseniella tetraeda only the former is brittle, so most like to be the spcies. Nothing eat it though and is consideredimmune from predation.
