As confirmation of the PAC's positive and pro-active stance on this emotive and serious issue, retired police officer Mark Leathwood has been appointed PAC's first National Fisheries Protection Officer.

Mark will be available to advise members regarding how to tackle problems in their area, and provide valuable input later this year into the workshop planned to create a Fishery Protection Model for application anywhere in the UK.

Please do NOT report individual incidents to Mark, however, but to your local police and EA.

Find Mark on Facebook or, in due course, via the PAC website.

Education and integration may well be the long-term answer - but in the short-term prosecutions are required. Mark's appointment will; help us all achieve that.
