Hi all,not a carp question but wondering if anyones tried. With spring just around the corner! amlooking forward to tench fishing.I've been using "stench" groundbait by Whizzo which is fantastic at attracting them but they seem to become pre-occupied by it and whatever bait i try they ignore.Have tried making paste using stench, eggs and trout pellet paste but the stench dissolves after about 15mins so was thinking a stench boilie is the answer.

just boil the paste you've made for a minute or so...... it should give it the skin it needs - pretty much how the boilie started out!

the other thing to remember is that just because they might be pre-occupied on the groundbait, doesnt mean that they will pick up a big lump of it - you might be better off with tiny lumps of it. after all, if they are able to tell the difference between your hookbait and the groundbait, you're also adding trout pellet and egg to it......

the other way is just to make the paste, and air dry lumps of it. then just wrap some more groundbait around it before you cast it out
