Rumours abound that Selby 3 Lakes is now a syndicate water, £500 a year.

And the 'cuts' are to be filled in turning it back to3 lakes.

We are now in a position to give a full update as to what is happening to the Selby 3 Lakes Complex: As from Saturday 15th December 2007, what was previously known as the "Old Lakes 2 & 3" will unfortunately not be available for fishing as they were prior to this date.

ALL FISHING (carp, pike and coarse) will only be available from the 15th, on either a day ticket or pre booked night fishing basis, on what was known as the "Old Lake 1"
Gordon Fowler continues to manage the "new" fishery and can be still contacted on the same telephone number :- 07818092420 to pre-book night fishing, get up to date catch reports, book winter match’s and obtain other general information regarding the lake etc, etc.

The "Old Lake 1" is currently undergoing some work on the banksides and in the near future the banks between the "Old Lakes 1 & 2" will be reinstated in order to give Lake 1 its own identity. Once this work has been completed a restocking programe will commence in Lake 1.

The Present 3 Lakes management would like to take this opportunity to thank EVERBODY that has supported "The Selby 3 Lakes" complex over the years and would like to reassure you all that it is our intention to create a 1st class fishery that will provide excellent sport for all that visit us in the years to come.
Once again many thanks for all your support and we look forward to welcoming you again in the not to distant future.
