PAC in New Bid to Combat Fish Theft

Well Done to the PAC!!!!!

Here here, lets hope this initiative takes off and anglers report everything they see.

At last it seems like the EA are taking notice of anglers concerns but it will rely on people reporting incidents.

An increase in funding and therefore baliffs would be better, or indeed the willingness of police to attend what is essentially a burglary in progress but it is a start.

Sadly we're unlikely to see either an increase in funding or more bailiffs in the current climate.

The whole idea of this initiative is to enable the enforcement guys to gather intelligence from anglers and target resources where they're needed.

If it works, they may roll it out nationally. I'm sure the PAC and King's Lynn AA will be doing all they can to promote it and make it work. Both clubs are acutely aware of the problems in the Fens and further afield.
