I'm sorry chap but I wouldn't call that carp a linear,not even a half linear as there are only a few scales on the lateral line towards the wrist of the tail.What you have there looks to me like a typical sparsely scaled Simmo fish.(stand to be corrected)

Linears are my favourite type of carp and you can't beat a perfect zip linear with the right colours.

Although not my biggest fish this ones one of my favourites..

Yeah,its a linear in that its got scales along its lateral line but its far away from being a classic linear. I'm not trying to bring down the guy's capture just keep things real.

if your keeping it real surely its a linear ....not a perfect one like yours but its a linear

I suppose its the same as a "leather" with scales.IMO if the fish has <u>any</u> scales its not a leather.

Like beauty being in the eye of the beer holder/forum/smilies/tongue_out_smiley.gif
