winter baiting

Wht are your views of winter baiting? Do youput a goodkg in or just a pva bag? Also would it ok touse low oil pellets ormaize, hemp, corn etc

Depend on the conditions at the time? I presume you are talking about baiting for a session rather than pre-baiting?

At this time of year I think locating the fish is more important that baiting up. Little pva bags should be ok to start with, once you find the fish you can obviously put more bait in to hold them there.

find the fish then feed little and often use small pva bags instead of chucking it in

On my water, over the past few months the most succesful approach has been a pva bag of pellet about the size of a golf ball, with a single pop up or a single 8mm boilie.
