Lovely fish. Should be in a pond though, not a fishery.

Rubbish. Just because it's pretty doesn't mean it isn't just as sporting as any other Carp.... and I can take you to a lake populated with nothing butbeautifully coloured Koi crosses to 15 lbs and more, and believe me they don't half fight.

If you were at the fairground and managed to throw three table tennis balls into empty goldfish bowls, and won this as a prize, you would need a bloody big plastic bag to carry it home i I can tell you!

Lads thats a varied mix of comments, that fish is now touching 19lb, very strong fish and add a little to a fishery. The mirrors and commons follow the koi around and when u see the koi, 6 in lake the other carp are not far behind... So they are useful and beautiful creatures..
