I have been told this afternoon, that the three angling diciplines, Sea fishing, Game fishing, and Coarse fishing "Are" going to amalgamate.The article is in this weeks (COUNTRY LIFE) although I haven't seen it myself yet. Has anybody heard anything, or seen the article?

As long as they don't call it he Association of Game Coarse Seamen i really don't mind what they do lol

No, not heard a word about it until i read this article.

That would be great Baz mate.

All we would need to do then is a bit of further amalgamation.

For example:

Carp anglers, matchmen, 'specialists', lure enthusiasts, 'pleasure' anglers, Barbel experts, exponents of the dry fly, my brain hurts now.

It might just be that somebody is calling for angling to be united, much like we do on here.

Great thanks Baz. Missing my local waters though, the fishing here is crap. Mind you, saw some nice Carp this morning..

Fair point Matt. I've always thought the term 'pleasure angler' was a misnomer. Bit like 'silver fish'.

You not going on it, means we failed to get the benefit of your opinion.

Why aren't you a member of ACA ,was the question.

Fred I don,t see your point here. As a lot of the members did not go on that thread.

And asking a member of F M. Why is he or she not a member of the ACA Is nothing to do with you or anyone.
