Fishing Insurance

Hello everyone, I am looking to purchase some insurance for all my fishing gear just in case i break a rod/ reel or it gets stolen whilst out on the bank. can anyone reccomend and insurance supplier ? thanks Alex

Tacklewise is about the best one Alex but I myself think they are all expensive for the cover you actually get! you have to trawl the net and try and find the best deals...If they actually exist

Yes, they certainly are a pricey option. The Korda scheme gets good press.

I suppose like any insurance, if you ever need it, it is a good idea. If you never need it, it is a waste of money!

...and like any insurance they'll try their very hardest to wriggle and squirm out of paying up when you submit a claim.
