60 or 70 mph winds, driving rain, tree branches flying about.

Is anybody out fishing today? If so, they've got more dedication than me!

From the five day forecast I've seen, the rain is expected to continue well into next week.

If it's like this a week tomorrow, will you still be heading out to enjoy the first day of the new season?

The 5 day forecast up here isn`t so bad, Sun looks pretty good and Mon is ok too.

I`m looking forward to next weekend but if the weather`s awful my first day on the river can wait. Being cold, wet and windswept does nothing for me.

I got up at 0330 this morning to go on the of chance the forecast for the south west was wrong, it wasn't so I didn't go. Tomorrow looks good here in the Torbay area so I shall be up at 0330 to try again.

My days of going out in any weather are over.

I was up at 4.30. Went. Wish I hadn't bothered.
Not often I feel like that about fishing.

I've been ''going'' all week while up here in Chorley, but I FORGOT TO BRING MY BLOODY WATERPROOFS WITH ME! hence the reason I have been sat at this PC all week. I did have a walk down to the lodge pond where the big tench live but two guy's that were fishing told me they had been there 5 hours and got one roach between them, so I am glad I didn't bother :) :)
