There are several good waters in and around the south suffolk area.If you are looking to catch carp in the 20lb range, there is BRAMFORD `A` PIT or MELTON Both waters are run by Breakaway Tackle on Bramford road in Ipswich 01473 741393.There is also a great lake at attleborough, Swangey Lakes,this has now produced a 30 lb fish,and i personally have taken 2 25lb fish from here.Call ray on :01953 452907.
If its a day of catching loads in the 5lb to 15lb range you need to visit Buxall,at stowmarket, or trimly at felixstowe,both waters run by Viscount fishing tackle,clapgate lane ipswich,ask for Vic: 01473 728179.
If it is a scenic lake with a challenge you want,try joining G.A.P.S.They have several waters in the ipswich area,but the prettiest and my favourite is Alderson lake at needham market.You can join G.A.P.S. At most tackle shops in Ipswich, and they will give you all the info you need.Good fishing.
