Can anybody help. What type of spod do you need.

Does size matter? (apart from how much bait you can put in)

What should you use and when?

Any ideas most welcome

Cheers

Bigger the spod: more food, requires specialist rod, less distance.

Smaller spod: less splash but more casts, will travel further but need more overall effort (casting/retrieving), can get away with heavy carp rod.

What do you want to spod, how far do you want to throw it, how often are you going to use it?
