Did anyone go today? Couldn't attend due to illness butI'd be interested in your comments about the new location. How much bigger was it than last year at Thorpe Park? Also, was there much for the Match Man as last year mainly catered for thespecialist carper. Was there a decent sized pole alley?

Hi Mike , sorry i can't be much help as this is the only show i have been to , as a new fisherman i was impressed with a lot of the equipment pricesie; 42" net plus handle for a tenner , lots of bargains on the bait front at the end of the show as they wanted to get rid , lots of decent rods and a reasonable collection of poles , 2 alleys that i saw, but as you say a lot geared to the carper, lots of clothing and chairs and too many reels to even think about , i liked the space as it was nice to be able to walk around without everyone knocking into each other, good priced seatboxes from around sixty quid , my first time but already looking foward to the next one , ps; sorry to hear you are not well get better soon

Paul, thanks for your feedback much appreciated also got a bit from MD site. I understand that later in the day the car park started toget clogged up probably around the time of my proposedarrival. So at least I didn't have that hassle to deal with. The show sounded pretty good with quite a few bargains to be had.
