Hi again all.

Another piece of advice required if poss.

Its regarding backing, I have several spools of budget backing (more like a nylon string) is this good to use or should I get something better, eg braided.

Depends on where you're fishing and fish will take you down to the backing or not.

I've never seen my backing when I've played fish, and none of the other guys I've had the pleasure to fish with have either.

I'd say it's fine
