Holiday in/around Norwich

I am going to stay just north of Norwich and at the back end of March, I do not want to fish 'puddles' or 'commercials' unless they are mixed fisheries, any advice on where I can go? I am not bothered about the species present, but coming from Merseyside a bit of scenery (and some fish) would be nice.

John Wilson's book Where to Fish in Norfolk and Suffolk is a mine of info.

There are plenty of pits and lakes west of Norwich. Taverham is quite pretty and has a good shop/facilities on site. Tench and carp, but definitely not a puddle.

Then there are all the broads, lakes and the tidal rivers round there which are pretty nifty - esp the Wensum through Norwich city centre at present.
