Yeh drop shotting is a popular tactic for Perch, but I'm not sure about double
drop shot, does that entail 2 hook snoods?.

Unless your club or the fishery rules stipulate only one hook per line then I would have thought that it would be fine.

Fly anglers often use a team of flies, most pike lures have more than one hook and sea anglers also use multi lure and multi hook set up.

I have used two hook feeder set up when wanting to compare the effectiveness of differing baits and I have never had a problem, it is possible to have a "safe/non tether" two hook rig. I have never incidentally accidentally foul hooked a fish or had more than one fish at a time while coarse fishing with a static two hook rig.
