Hi As iam a new member how long does new threads stay on FM and when do they get delleted ?

Hi Robo,
Not sure of the exact answer (one of the moderators will be along soon with that answer) but if you search for any subject in the box above, you will find threads from five or six years ago, so they don't get deleted quickly.
In fact, they form a really good database of fishing wisdom, if you ignore the waffle /forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif

Threads stay on for ever as far as I know. The best way to get a thread deleted is to attract the attention of the barbel mafia by making a controversial comment.
Good ones to try are:
Implying that you are poaching certain sections of the river Trent
Throwing barbel up the bank whilst you get your camera ready
Anything on Bob Roberts
Having big hands
