Hi all

I've just returned to fishing after a 20 year break, been almost everyday since the beginning of the season, and caught a couple of small perch. joined old windsor Angling a few weeks back. A bit rusty, not 100% certain on what I'm doing. but I guess it will take time to come back...

Hi Steve, The Old Windsor stretch of the Thames at Romney lock is stuffed with roach and big dace. Try a waggler set around 5 ft deep and use maggot on a 20 hook.
Keep spraying maggots every trot through and you should bag up.

Don't worry,the fish are the same...:) and so is the fishing;it's like riding a bicycle,once learned you never forget!
