Hi chaps (& chapettes),
Just returned back to fishingafter a 20 year lay off and currently not clued up on waters around Nottingham. I recently took my step-son (aged 14)to Colwick Parkbut he blanked and although he’s shown a slight interest, I would like to take him to a fishery (probably a commercial?) where he’s likely to get a reasonably good bag of fish to hopefully fuel his interest. Not a member of any clubs yet so looking for day ticket venues. Any suggestions of decent waters around the Nottingham area fishable with running gear? (I’m not a pole man)! Details of where, how much, what baits work well & what species would be appreciated.
