An Evening with the Don Valley Specimen Group

Venue: Green Dragon at Rotherham. 1 mile from M1

Date: Monday 7th April, 2008

Doors open: 7.00pm

Right a few of you have seen my stand-up Barbel society thing well this is the whole group....

It will raise the bar as far as presentations go

Come along and meet RonClay, Bob Roberts, Matt Brown, Adam Roberts, Mike Townsend, Martin Womble, Andy Renton, Trev Empson, Tim Ridge and a fat bloke with three chins.

Sounds like a good bash though but sadly distance will make it difficult for me.Good luck with it though.

Just looked at your map Lee and it must be well 'oop nurth' I mean, bleedin' heck, your road numbers have 4 digits, down here we have only 1 or 2.

Seriously though, I'd have loved to have come up and met you all, but time and distance is against it.

I hope you all have a great evening - just make sure Ron gets a round in, right after GM's.

Doors open at 7 - might be a push, what time's the show start?

(remember it's a 4.5 hour drive from cheshire to Sheffield!)

The show starts at about 8pm

Hopefully you will get a better route than the one Martins sat nav gave us when we went to Middlewich.

The weekend is on the weather now...Bloody snow in March!...Its a disgrace!
