Hi all,

I've been using the Martin Bowler Richworth Extracta baits for a while and i'm doing pretty well for old barbus on them, however, if there are any carp about (as there are in the stretch I fish) they always get to the bait first.

Carp seem to absolutely love these baits, so much so that I'm going to try them on the lakes in the spring. Also, I've not had many Chub on them which I'm surprised about as they smell very 'chubby'.

Anyone else catching on these?

I've been baiting with them and using a paste wrapped bollie with a PVA bag of the extracta pellets.

Works great but if the carp get to them first the barbel don't seem to get a look in. Nothing against catching carp, but I'd rather catch barbel in the rivers and fish lakes for Carl in the spring (call me old fashioned).

"Barbel boilie"...now that's a laugh.

But if people are buying it then all power to Martin and his marketing skills.

I agree Steve 'barbel bollie' is a bit of a marketing ploy but for me the real attraction of these baits is the Richworth name.

A decent bait wil be attractive to all fish as evidenced by catching loads of carp on them.

Have you used them at all? I'm interested to see how others are doing on them.
