Derbyshire: best beer, best cheese, best puddings.
I use them and have found only one problem in that the curve in the clip (that clips it shut) sometimes won't fit through the eye on the lure.

Admittedly there's only one of my lures affected by this and I could buy the smaller sized version of the link swivels but just thought I'd chip in.

Pays to fit one to all plugs and spoon and spinners. Plastics are something different of course, but I've had no problems with those so far. They can be a little fiddly at times though.

Thank you Albert. At one time I would have. Now I'm just tight.

With normal spoons, spinners, and crank baits, it allows them to behave more naturally, Paul. Fit one to all of them.

.

With Jerkbaits it's different. You need to keep the line to bait as straight as possible. Sort of. Tricky to explain but even connectors without a free swivel are better.
