Hi all,

Just a thought as I was reading the March addition of Total Carp and saw that Korda have now introduced a new set of Videos on Carp fishing and Gardner have released editions 3 and 4 of their series and also a new Rigwise video, but they are all only on VHS format. Why, when the rest of the world is going crazy for DVD's isn't the fishing world following. At least give consumers the option. I don't really want to go out and spend money on a video player just so I can watch Carp videos when I have a DVD player on my pc. OK, feel better now!!! :)

Probably a cost thing.. "Normal" Mainstream films and series have a greater demand than Fishing videos so Companies can afford to produce across the formats... Where as the demand for Fishing films (and many other "infomatative" series is less. So companies produce on the most common format... Still VHS...
