NAFAC welcomes new Angling Unity Website

The National Association of Fisheries and Angling Consultatives (NAFAC) has welcomed the setting up of the new Angling Unity website. The new Angling Unity website went live last week and now offers an information resource that will grow as Unity is delivered. It currently ranks No:1 on a Google search for ‘angling unity’ and has already, in its first week, seen in excess of 1000 visitors who have viewed the Features & Benefits and Questions & Answers pages.

In the short term it provides an introduction to the task being undertaken and offers some information and answers to anyone who would like to know more.

NAFAC Executive Chairman, Martin Read, in describing the momentum building within NAFAC, the National Federation of Sea Anglers, the National Federation of Anglers, the Salmon and Trout Association, the Specialist Anglers’ Alliance and the Anglers Conservation Association said, “ It is another small step in progressing what is probably the most important move that angling has taken in many years. I am delighted that all the National angling and fisheries organisations are committed to delivering our members’ aspirations. It is now becoming very apparent in that ordinary anglers want to see the various organisations form a single representative body as soon as possible.” The Angling Unity website can be accessed athttp://anglingunity.co.uk/

FishingMagic Note:The National Association of Fisheries and Angling Consultatives (NAFAC) is the national body of local and regional fisheries and angling consultatives (stakeholder groups) that together represent the views of over 400,000 anglers and others with an interest in our fisheries. Visit www.nafac.co.uk for more information about NAFAC.

A good idea but can the designers move the main text up a little to get rid of that big white space.Unless you scroll down to pick up the text it seems that nothing is happening and the site is not working properly.

Do we have news on a name for the unified body yet.I would be gravely concerned if FACT was retained.

I get a white space Graham,

surley the title 'welcome to angling unity' should be at the top of the home page, instead of scrolling down to it?

It's probably down to the type of browser we are using, it doesn't display properly for me, but the message is still the same.

Re log in, I would think it's probably only for those involved with steering/setting up the new organisation.. I have the members log in details for the NAFAC members section but that doesn't work on the FACT site

I'm not sure what META is but the log in is under that heading, I'll try to find out.
