Warkworth Castle

Had a trip up to Warkworth for my birthday yesterday with my good lady. Just for a change the car stayed in the garage and we used our OAP passes to get there (means you can have a few scoops if you want to !!!!)

Had not been to the castle in about 30 years and was keen to get some digital images of it. Will post up a couple of them.

After the castle we hit the Hermatage Pub for a bar meal. If you are ever in there try out the rabbit and black pudding pie - AWESOME

Went there with my lads many moons ago. Just stumbled on it and they were having a sort of medieval day...brilliant...kids firing bows and arrows, dressed up in armour. And that pub is great'
