Shore Fishing Scotland

im going to st andrews over the weekend and ws wondering about sea fishing, i havent been before at this time of year and was wondering if sea fishing was all year round, and what fish will be at the shore? i will be using a spinner

your best bet Kris, is to look up there local tackle shop and ring them to ask for some advise as to hot spots, and what is biting right now! also what techniques or bait is working best! they should be more than happy to help out in any way they can! most local stores are always friendly and hapy to help a new to the area fisherman anytime i have found in the past, and its a great way to meet new people and maybe find someone to fish with while your there!
