I live on Anglesey and going to fish a Local Free lake for Pike. I know that it holds Pike but wondering which is the best way to fish for them dead bait or spinners? I have never fished for Pike before but wish to give it a go this winter. Any advise would good

If its a clear, shallow lake I would be inclined to have a few trips spinning first, just to see whats about.

if you have never fished for pike before then the best bet is to find someone local that you can go fishing with. pike are a bit of a job to unhook if you dont know what to do and they are easy to damage.
tackling a new water i would fish 1 dead bait ona leger and 1 on a float then maybe use a spinner to the edges of the swim
