Zed Fishing

Anybody interested in fishing Old Bury Hill for the zeds this winter ? just received my winter permit.They always seem more active before the water cools down to much,only trouble is so do the crays

Been looking at bury hill lake for a while, its not a million miles from where i am so might fish there at some point next year. whats it like there?

The bury hill website fishery map gives you some idea of the topography of the lake,the swims are a bit to close together for my liking,but most decent anglers spread themselves out a bit.Years ago,people tell me it was more picturesque with lots of Lilly beds but I heard the crayfish burrow into the bottom and the Lilly's then die.
