Hello all, and let me introduce myself. My name is Jonathan and I have fished for most of my 37 years on earth, I started on the east Durham pit beaches until I married at 18 and took up coarse fishing as i was too far from the sea. I have progressed a little way and now spend my time match fishing and coaching youngers as i qualified as a sport England angling coach a few years back so i spend a lot of time doing that. I also run the Durham county junior league that is coming on leaps and bounds.
I am a natural waters angler at heart, fishing small still waters using maggot and worm is my forte. I do like fishing commercial waters on occasions but i do tire of them after a few sessions.
