After posting on another thread and Normark float rods came up, it reminded me that I have the top section of what may be a pre masterline Titan. The bottom 2 sections suffered catastrophic failure and were beyond repair. I know these rods are prone to tip failure but this one may be complete. It is of no use to me, but I do fancy trying a closed face reel. I am based in Dorset. Any thoughts?

Unless any members need one you're probably best putting it on fleabay - as you say there are quite a few match rods out there with a couple of inches missing.

PS although my Normarks are OK you don't happen to have the top section of an original Preston Carbonactive float rod in your broken rod collection?

Put it on the auction site or perhaps on maggotdrowners.com
Someone will snap your hands off either way.

Thanks chaps, sorry no busted carbonactive, Ive not done that much floatfishing, mainly sea and barbel at the moment, though I am looking for a decent 14 ft stick rod if anyones got one kicking about.
