I'd have bought a set but they only come in red and I insist on having my bite indicators matching my rod whippings - one red, one blue and one green.
I prefer mine to match my Delks, so it has to be Purple Haze for me . . . . . . .
Can't believe that someone bid 10 notes for those though LOL

Well my rods could do with being re-whipped and a tenner seems cheap for such a piece of angling heritage - red is good. Plus only using one colour adds symmetry....

Hells bells! I still have one in my carp box and its still cutting edge!
Seriously tho, I was bream fishing earlier in the season and a carp angler came over for a chat. He noticed that my indicators were the original Dellereed optonics (bamford converted) and immediately offered me £100 on the spot--- he was deadly serious, but I declined --- dont know who was the maddest to be honest.
I have another two in my garage just the same but they need someone with the electrical skills and a little patience to get them up and running.
Now any reasonable offer will be definately accepted.
