I have found the pike to be feeding hard in recent weeks but with a night / day session planned for sat and the temperature forecast to drop to 1 degrees overnight and about 8 degrees in the day do you think this will stop the pike feeding untill they get used to the sudden drop in temp

A couple of days won't affect the water temperature much as it takes much longer than air to react to change - your more likely to get a reaction in the change in pressure/wind direction.

In my experience the early season high feed levels willstart to drop off with the arrival of the cold weather. But that usually coincides with a better stamp of fish appearing.
